Un aubade

on ne sait jamais ce que demain sera = one never knows what tomorrow will hold

In Kristin Espinasse’s blog, French-Word-A-Day, she writes of Une aubade: Dawn serenade. “The serenade, which the French call “aubade“, was a gift from above… as is freedom, as is love.”

The definition Dawn Serenade took me back to a morning where nature sang her aubade. Out of the stillness and quiet of the of the morning,  dawn broke across the waters of Bhuratpur. Through the sandy shades of yellows, muted oranges and reds of a blended sunrise awoke the chimes of bird songs.
