“These’ll fix everything”, she could hear his absurdity.
Besides, he knew she kept her personal life out of the office. A bouquet full of Birds-of-Paradise screamed passive-aggressive. Could he have topped off the delivery with balloons, made his fuck-you more resounding? She was definitely dating the wrong guy.

It’s Friday Fictioneers time. Rochelle provides us with a photo prompt. We write a 100 word story.
It’s been years since I’ve last participated on these. I forgot what a challenge and delight they are. Trying to get back to writing and posted a little more often.

Self-absorbed or what? Good one, made me smile.
Ha! Ha! She is going to pretend nothing was delivered. Nice one.
Oops, loved that ending. giggles…
Oh my. Never assume anything 🙂
She got her exercise that morning— jumping to conclusions. 😉
Ooops. Nice take on the prompt.

Ahahhha! That ending was amazing on so many levels. Loved it.

Thanks Dale for the heads-up on the link. I think it’s fixed now. Also thanks for seeking me out despite the roadblock. It was fun to write another one of these. It’s been too long.
My pleasure. We’re here for each other!
