Cuban Breeze

Fav things 3

I was purusing Gruau: Portraits of Men by Réjane Bargiel . René Gruau became one of the most respected  and influential fashion illustrators between the 1950s-80s. Though known for his expressive images of  women, this book explores the artist’s portraits of men, which  redefined the modern idea of confident, masculine elegance.

For me the cover art serves as the inspiration for an easy breezy must have outift.

And in case you were wondering this is what would be playing in my ears.

Favorite Things #2

I was inspired by the This & That posts done regularly on Simply Luxurious life. Here is a post of my own with a few of the things I have been coveting lately.

Vupoint Magic Wand ~ This is the newest tool I have added to my travel design kit arsenal.

Lonny Mag ~ Great online magazine full of interior inspiration.

Roberto Cavalli Dress ~ I never dress up but if I did this would be a WOW outfit.

Sock Bun ~ Since I have short hair this post doesn’t apply to me. However I love the illustrated How-to by Inslee. I may have to create an illustrateed How-to.

30 Things~ If like me you have long since passed thirty check out 50 things before 50.

T-shirt ~I have been coveting this tshirt by James Perse. Casual fit, deep scoop neck, lightweight jersy…..enough said.

Jeuneuse des Mains ~ If you don’t know you must discover this hand cream by Clarins. Every holiday I stock up on the stocking stuffer size tubes to keep in my purse all year long. Personally I think the scent alone is addictive. Check it out but consider yourself warned.

Curly Wurly ~ Caramel, Chocolate pick me up. Best eaten late at night in bed while drawing.

CD– Norah Jones Little Broken Hearts is my current commuting soundtrack.
