Today’s photo pair includes a watercolor I completed this summer & the photo that inspired it.

The minute I laid eyes on this photograph by  Meg Perotti I knew I needed to draw it. The polka dot rubber rain boots were the perfect bit of quirk. And the yellow splashes seemed to add that touch of sunshine to the color scheme.
